Your music is yours. Ephemeral saves your projects on your device and does not send them to phelgo.
This policy explains how phelgo (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Ephemeral app for iPhone and iPad or contact us for support.
Information in the app
Ephemeral does not require an account. The app does not collect or transmit personal information to us and does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Music projects, project names, patterns, notes, and app settings are stored locally on your device so you can continue working on them. We do not have access to these files through the app.
Ephemeral’s recording feature records the notes and pad hits you play inside the app. The current version does not access your microphone or record sounds around you.
Storage and deletion
Your projects remain on your device until you delete them. You can delete projects from the app’s project library. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local app data.
Depending on your device settings, app data may also be included in backups managed by Apple or backups you make on a computer. Those backup copies are controlled separately from Ephemeral. We do not operate a cloud storage or synchronisation service for your projects.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your message or attachments. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and help resolve problems.
Support correspondence is processed by our email service provider to deliver and store messages. We do not sell your information or use support messages for advertising. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet any applicable legal obligations.
You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have sent us. We will handle your request in accordance with applicable law.
Apple’s services
Apple operates the App Store and device services, including backups and optional diagnostics. Apple’s handling of information through those services is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and your Apple account and device settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Ephemeral or our privacy practices change. The current policy will be available on this page, with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek your consent.
